This morning on the radio it was announced that the death has occurred of Triggsy Keane, beloved dog of Roy. I'd like to extend my deepest sympathy to the Keane family, Triggsy friends and the extended Keane family. My thoughts are with them at this time.
R.I.P Triggsy.
No, I'm not doubting the dog dying.
But, wasn't he being a bit OTT with the sympathies? Jesus, I'm a big Roy Keane fan, but like, come on, its just a dog!![]()
Pat. This is a very serious issue.
I'm a big fan of Keane myself. It was a bit of a wind up but Triggsy will be remembered from the events of the 2002 more so than some of the Irish panel!
Yes Stevie bookmakers are taking bets. Derek McGovern had this to offer yesterday.
Bets on breed of Roy Keane's next dog
Exercise is not all it's cracked up to be, judging by the demise of Roy Keane's pooch, Triggs.
There's never been a fitter dog, not even a butcher's one, than Triggs, hauled from the fireside whenever his master was under fire. But now he's gone to that great kennel in the sky and poor Keano must search for another faithful companion.
I remember when our dog went missing the missus was distraught and put an ad in the local paper. "Here boy," it read.
Keano used to love throwing a bone to Triggs - usually it was one of Alf-Inge Haaland's. Now there's nothing at the end of the lead - but luckily he's used to that at Ipswich.
Bookies Paddy Power are betting on the breed of Keano's next pooch - Triggs was a golden labrador - and make a lab retriever the 6-5 favourite with a golden retriever 3-1.
