No increase in admission prices to league games
By John Fogarty

The GAA has frozen admission prices for the Allianz Football and Hurling Leagues.
Ticket prices for Division 1 and 2 in football and the top tier of the hurling league (Division 1A and 1B) remain at €13.

Last year, the Association decided to drop the cost of attending a league game by €2, a cut of over 13% on the 2010 price. Admission to games in the bottom two divisions of the Allianz Football League will remain at €10, while patrons will continue to pay €5 to attend a game in the lower divisions of the hurling competition.

Despite a major take-up seeing over 10,000 units being sold and the juvenile section being sold out, season tickets remain on sale at €85.

The ticket entitles the purchase to attend not just their own county team’s league fixtures but any game in that code including play-offs, semi-finals and finals as well as the All-Ireland senior club finals on St Patrick’s Day as well as their side’s opening provincial game.

Dublin football supporters have shown the biggest interest. Due to demand, tickets for their championship fixtures are allocated in the upper Cusack.
