Can't really agree with you Golum about Johnny Hanratty - I'm not saying he is a great midfielder and totally agree that he is too quick with the fists but I thought he got through a fair bit of work in midfield yesterday which was vital for us considering how poorly Big David played- and, of course, he got the goal which in the end was the difference.

As for Dromintee I do think that time has caught up with AO'R and that Barry Shannon could do a better job in the centre. Also don't understand why they didnt try again with Gareth O'Neill at Full Forward when they had the wind in the second half.

Crossmaglen have once again proved that they are a great club by coming back from last years devastating blow and say what you want but defeat to pearse ogs would have been devastating after years and years of success and dromintee have also been fantastic and i fully expect these sides to be puhing for honors again next year along with the ogs if they can get ronan back to full fitness hes had a horrible run of luck for the club over the last few years missed a season played a season missed a season which is unfortunate for both player and club and its one thing i always wonder would cross have been able to cope against ogs and dromintee in previous years without their marquee forward oisin because as yesterday proved hes still their main man on the big stage

Franny Hanratty scored the goal and Gareth O'Neill played full forward the whole game?

Oops - wrong Hanratty for goal - fair enough! Still thought Johnny did better than he has done as of late.

As for O'Neill - what i meant was that at the start you got a goal and a point with him standing up at full forward - and that was against the wind. I didnt see that tactic used in the second half to the degree that i had expected

Congrats Cross, dug it out when they needed to as they have done so many times. Disappointing to see the goading by some of their defenders, but they took a few thumps for it.

I fancy Cross in Cross against any team, and they'll give the Galls a game.

In a final hard to pick out players when your a bag of nerves. TK seemed to get through a lot of work, and Mickey Mac looked lively when he came on. Midfeild done well for them at the crucial times too.
Corn thats bullshit. Nothing more or less. As Mr Cunningham says himself. nevermind soccer, goal line technology in gaelic is sometimes the call. Cross had more wides than Dromintee and more chances. To suggest Cross took all their opportunities to get over the line is ludicrous.

From a man that talks a lot of bullshit on here, that is hard to take.

Might have kicked a few in the closing stages, but I think they had tow in first half and very few intil the final five minutes. I'm not sure what the final total was.

Get off he high horse with the ludicrous talk.

You're good at he shite talk yourself Corn.

Trying to say that Cross took basically all their chances is rubbish.

They missed easily as many if not more than Dromintee.

    Lay off the bullshit.

What did I say that was ludicrous?

As I thought at the time this was nonsense.Cross are Cross. I wouldn't give Burren much of a chance against them either. Ulster should be in the bag for Cross now. Again.
