Sarsfields v Shane O’Neill’s - Sarsfields by at least 5 pts

Silverbridge v Middletown - Bridge to win

St Peter’s v An Port Mor - Peter's need to find a win somewhere but I fancy Port Mor for the upset

Ballyhegan v Keady - Ballyhegan beat Keady recently but Keady have been a bit Jeckyl & Hyde while Ballyhegan have continued to just plod along - Keady have the potential to raise themselves and win this one

Madden v Wolfe Tone - Tones to cause an upset here

Collegeland v Culloville - Culloville to fulfil their favourites tag and win easily.
Byes – St Paul’s & Tir na nÓg

Correct me if i am wrong true, but u seem to be a tones man who likes nothing more than to put the club down or write them off...if so, this shows little loyalty to ur club and instead u shud mayb think about getting behind the team as opposed to making snide remarks at every given opportunity...?

let me tell u Bill tones man all my life but i hate all this negative talk about young team, injuries and the usual crap. Tones are one of the strongest teams in the division and have been for the last 10 years, strong players right throughout the squad. A club that supports them with everything they need and more, from management, gear facilities the lot and if you have followed them as long as I have and seen them get themselves into positions were they were winning and improving but still failing at the last hurdle because of silly things like negativity then you can spout your nonsense about snide remarks. Its the CLUB men who are club men when it suits them - when they can jump on the band wagon of possible success - that are the wreck and ruin of many a fine club those men that can stand on the side line or the bank and shout just for the sake of shouting that have never pulled on a jersey or represented there club in any match that mattered a damn. As far as I was aware and I stand to be corrected this is an open forum for each and every one to have their opinion or say, and with regards to snide remarks dont believe I have ever made any but have only stated an opinion, asked a question or made a genuine comment!!!

True u say alot of things that are correct but u have made alot of remarks about the tones from the start of the year,

that they were hard to watch v clann eireann

u questioned their managers loyalty then now u praise them

do u secretly want tones beat?

I do agree having seen them play twice this year they are a decent side but are not that big a side and i stick with my predicition with madden to win by 4.

I seem to have hit a nerve here true. Ok, it appears that ur a man who has followed the club for quite a number of years through thick and thin, like myself. I agree with wat u say about how some people love nothing more than to slate their own club, and u seem adament that u are not one of those indivduals. However just because ur not a bandwagoner, and just because uv played for the club at sum stage doesnt justify ur "side remarks" (as u so wisely stated this is an open forum were u can giv ur opinion, and in my opinion uv made snide remarks).

With regards to this current crop of players, having seen as many games as possible this year, i am pleased with the brand of football that they are playing. They are obviously still a young side but at the same time hav players who i have watched for many years including the seasons in div 1. Team spirit looks to be at its highest since the club was in div 1 and this will prove valuable in years to come.

You mention negativity. I know personally speaking as a spectator for most of last seasons games, u cud feel the negative vibe but I dont get that impression this year at all (bar ur comments of course).

Flicking back through this thread and also through gaaboard i cant seem to find one positive comment form "true" in relation to performances this season?

Could this be coincidental...i think not.
