Same thing happened v Down in an Ulster U21 final 2 years ago, cost us the game there too. Theres a lot to be said for bit of knavery/know how. A point I would always make is that Kerry didn't their 33 AI's without a fair bit of skullduggery along the way.

I was at the match, and it was heartbreaking when that goal went in. Armagh played very well, but I thought they just lacked that wee bit of creativity to nick a goal or two. Cork got three goals at crucial times, and Armagh could never seem to put them out of sight. It would've been nice to have another day out in Croker, but it wasn't to be.

Disappointing to see so few Armagh fans that day though. The lads deserved better, especially as we were the reigning champions.

Minors are only well supported when in front of our own Senior team and even then it is only the 2nd half of the match as the crowd for the senior game starts to move in. So I wasn't surprised by low numbers, probably mostly family some club followers and some diehards who just follow every Armagh team. Unfortunately, I don't think this will change

Ah, I don't know about that. There were decent crowds at the Monaghan and Cavan matches this year, both stand alone fixtures. Scattered throughout the vast expanses Croke Park, the Armagh contingent at the quarter final probably seemed smaller than it actually was.

Fair point AFS but I still think numbers are always greater if linked to Senior Game and then it is as I said earlier by default.
